EduClasses®, www.EduClasses.org, strengthens partnerships, promotes food safety education, and expands continuing education opportunities for culinary professionals.
The EduClasses team recently returned from an outstanding experience exhibiting at the American Culinary Federation (ACF) National Convention & Show in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The event brought together thousands of chefs, culinary educators, students, restaurant operators, hospitality professionals, and industry leaders who share a common commitment to culinary excellence and professional development.
For EduClasses, the convention was more than just an opportunity to showcase our educational programs—it was an opportunity to strengthen relationships, learn from industry professionals, and continue our mission of making high-quality food safety education accessible across the United States and beyond.

Connecting with the Culinary Industry
Throughout the convention, our team had the privilege of meeting with culinary professionals representing every segment of the foodservice industry, including:
-
Executive chefs
-
Certified chefs
-
Culinary instructors
-
High school culinary programs
-
Colleges and universities
-
Restaurant owners and managers
-
Hospitality organizations
-
Government agencies
-
Foodservice suppliers
-
Workforce development organizations
These conversations reinforced an important reality: food safety education remains one of the most valuable investments any foodservice operation can make.
Whether operating a fine dining restaurant, food truck, healthcare kitchen, school cafeteria, hotel, or catering company, properly trained employees help protect customers, improve operations, and build stronger businesses.
Food Safety Certification Continues to Grow in Importance
One topic consistently discussed during the convention was the growing need for accessible, nationally recognized food safety training.
As staffing shortages, changing regulations, and increasing consumer expectations continue to impact the hospitality industry, employers are seeking training solutions that are flexible, affordable, and trusted.
EduClasses is proud to provide programs designed specifically to meet those needs.
Our nationally recognized training includes:
These programs help restaurants, culinary schools, healthcare facilities, government agencies, hospitality organizations, and foodservice businesses train employees while maintaining compliance with food safety regulations.

ACF Continuing Education Opportunities
Professional development remains an important part of every culinary career.
EduClasses is proud that the FMC Food Managers Certification program has been approved by the ACF Education Foundation for 10 Continuing Education Hours (CEHs).
In addition, our FHC Food Handler Classes program is approved for 4 Continuing Education Hours (CEHs).
These approvals allow ACF members to earn valuable continuing education credit while strengthening their knowledge of food safety principles, sanitation practices, and regulatory compliance.
EduProctor® Expands Access to Food Managers Certification
One of the highlights of this year's convention was introducing more culinary professionals to EduProctor, the EduClasses on-site proctoring network.
EduProctor allows qualified culinary instructors, colleges, health departments, training organizations, and industry professionals to become approved on-site proctors for the FMC Food Managers Certification examination.
By expanding the EduProctor network, more students and foodservice professionals gain convenient access to nationally recognized certification exams within their own communities.
The enthusiasm shown by culinary educators throughout the convention confirmed the growing demand for flexible testing options and local certification opportunities.
Building New Partnerships
Industry events like the ACF National Convention provide tremendous opportunities for collaboration.
During the show, EduClasses met with organizations interested in:
-
Workforce development partnerships
-
Culinary education collaborations
-
Restaurant employee training
-
Hospitality continuing education
-
Food safety certification programs
-
Affiliate opportunities
-
EduProctor partnerships
These discussions will continue well beyond the convention, helping expand access to quality education for foodservice professionals nationwide.
