In California, food facilities that prepare, handle, or serve non-prepackaged potentially hazardous food, except temporary food facilities, shall have an owner or employee who has successfully passed an approved and accredited food safety certification examination as specified in Sections 113947.2 and 113947.3. of the CA Health & Safety Code §113947.
The California Certified Food Manager program is a proctored exam as required by ANAB for ANAB-CFP and per the California Food Code. FMC is proctored by Prometric Test Centers, Prometric ProProctor remote proctor services. FMC has also been equiped to offer on site proctor services by EduProctors.
